What is a CareerRipple Project?

CareerRipple periodically facilitates group projects that address real-world problems and are supported by senior tech professionals.You can join as either a co-lead or non-lead.The specifics can vary, but projects are generally:

  • 2 months long

  • 10 hours per week

  • Occur around the world on a topic of your choosing

  • Teams of 2 co-leads and 4 non-leads

  • Supported by a mentor

What does a CareerRipple Mentor do?

Mentoring with CareerRipple is an easy and rewarding experience!Mentors are volunteers who are paired with and support CareerRipple Projects by providing guidance over Slack and the occasional videocall, which takes only ~30 minutes per week on average.

What is a CareerRipple Project?

CareerRipple periodically facilitates group projects that address real-world problems and are supported by you, the mentor.The specifics can vary, but projects are generally:

  • 2 months long

  • Occur around the world on a topic chosen by co-leads

  • Teams of 2 co-leads and 4 non-leads

What is required to be a mentor?

3+ years of professional experience and evidence of expertise in your role

The ability to commit 30 min/week

No previous mentorship experience required, just a dedication to helping others grow!

Our selection process ensures mentors are qualified and dedicated to the growth of early-career tech professionals.

  • 2 to 3 months long, depending on the project

  • Occur around the world

  • Teams of 6 junior professionals and 1 senior professional
